What a stroke of luck finding The Light Room Studio! Matt has created a hair salon oasis in Ridgewood! You enter and immediately get a sense of calm. Matt, JJ and Echo are masters of their craft! They take the time and have an attention to detail I have never experienced elsewhere. I always leave feeling both beautiful and confident. Plus they have the most comfortable hair washing chair EVER! š

Iām 32 years old and have never in my life had a hairdresser get the exact color and vision I wanted in ONE TRY. Matthew is honestly amazing. He listened to what I wanted and told me his honest professional opinion. I went from dark brown to a beautiful, elegant, subtle caramel balayage. It is the exact color I wanted and that is hard to achieve on my hair type! There is no brassiness. He is truly an artist and has become a good friend. I genuinely enjoy sitting in his chair and chatting. He is an amazing person. Also, the atmosphere and service is 10/10. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND š

they are the most caring and welcoming staff ever! after years of dying my hair at home, i decided i wanted to try something fun with my hair. echo gave me realistic expectations and we were able to come up with a plan that worked for both me and my hair! if youāre ever looking for a cute alternative style, definitely go for echo, they did a fantastic job!!
